Spirits

Raki is a traditional Turkish spirit, often referred to as "lion's milk" due to its milky appearance when mixed with water. Made from twice-distilled grapes and aniseed, it is served in small glasses, either neat or diluted with cold water, which turns the clear liquid a cloudy white. It's commonly paired with mezes, and its bold taste and cultural significance make it an essential part of any authentic Turkish menu.
